I don’t remember a time when I didn’t love the written word. I was a bookish kid, and while I loved to run around or play make believe or dress up my dolls, I spent a chunk of every day with my nose in a book — and I still do!
After years of working in the world of content marketing, I am returning to my love of creative writing. I am available for proofreading and copy editing of fiction and creative non-fiction, both short form and long form.
I am open to working on a variety of projects, but I specialize in genre fiction. I am well-steeped in the world of fantasy, science-fiction, and romance, with the occasional foray into mysteries. If you read the book reviews on my blog you will see that I have a marked preference for books by female, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ authors, and am interested in editing works that support and affirm those identities.
Personal Biographical Notes
In addition to being an avid reader, I enjoy dancing, embroidery, and making cocktails. I live in the Seattle, WA area with my spouse Chris and our elderly corgi, Daisy.
