What You Are Looking For Is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama (translated by Alison Watts) is a quick, easy read. If you’re looking for something relaxing and dare I say cozy, or if you’re looking to read more work in translation (especially by women!), this is a good choice.
Book Review: Untamed Shore by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Untamed Shore is a thriller-tinged coming of age story set in 1970s Baja, California. As is the case with all of Moreno-Garcia’s books, there’s a really strong sense of place, so that the setting feels almost like a character in its own right.
